Welcome to another blog hop where today we feature pocket cards. I chose to use the new suite “Unbounded Beauty” to create this unique Mother’s Day card without specifically using the words “Mother’s Day.” The card insert allows for a personal message to be added for the recipient.
I love how Stampin’ Up! provides Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates with any suite or bundle they included in their catalogs. It makes creating so very easy. As long as you have an layout or sketch, anyone can make beautiful creations.
I chose this particular sheet from the “Unbounded Beauty” DSP which coordinates with the new 2024-2026 In Colors “Petunia Pop” and “Peach Pie.”
How I made this card:
Score the 4 1/4″ x 11″ Peach Pie cardstock at 5-1/2″ and at the 1-1/4.”
Decorate the 1 1/4″ fold over flap with a 4-1/6” x 1” cut of DSP.
I made a bow and then wrapped the excess to the inside of the pocket and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal. I used Multipurposed Adhesive to create the pocket leaving an opening at the top.
The larger cut of DSP measures 3″ x 4 1/6.” The Basic White cardstock on the front measures 3-7/16” x 1-13/16.”
The Petunia Pop pocket insert measures 5” x 3-1/4” and the Basic White layer measures 4-3/4” x 3.”
I hope you enjoy recreating this card or a card similar to it.
