As the saying goes in the world of planning, “before the pen.” I played with ideas and came up with what you see above using all Stampin’ Up! products. I don’t yet have a current set with the month or numbers so I used retired sets. You could use the Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set to stamp in the number and spell out the months. I cut a sheet from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper to size and used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to adhere it to the planner. The Calypso Coral marker from the Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers set was used to create two boxes within each weekday. The Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape is retired but is available as a clearance rack item until the supply has been exhausted. Stampin’ Up! does have a Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape set with Lemon Lime Twist in it and Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape with Pool Party. The Love Today Planner Kit coordinates with these colors: Gold, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, and Real Red.
There is a refill for the planner. Everything you see here is included in the complete kit along with the binder. You can see more about the planner by watching the Stampin’ Up! video below.
I like that the planner can be tailored to your personal style and it works well with a few Stampin’ Up! stamp sets like Tabs for Everything, Text Ya Later, Glamper Greetings, Thoughtful Banners, and Bookcase Builder to name a few. You could also use the hostess set In the City which can be earned for free when you host an online party using a hostess code. The only other things I would add along with writing in tasks and appointments is “sticker” like add-ins using Designer Series Paper, punched shapes, or better yet, some of the extras from Memories & More or Paper Pumpkin.
I hope you are inspired and better see how to use this planner with what Stampin’ Up! has to offer. Contact me if you have any questions.
The Seasonal Lantern stamp set is a good versatile set. It not only helps you create exactly what you see in the images but it also creates cards to celebrate Kwanzaa. I used the masking technique to make this card. I masked around the candles and the candle holder. I think the next time I make this card I will cut down on some of the top two layers so we can see the Christmas Around The World Designer Series Paper it’s so pretty. I hope this challenges you to see beyond what a stamp set was made for and get creative to see how it comes out for you.

Supplies for the flag card are in a separate post on this blog. Check the list of categories for “Patriotic” over on the right side of this blog. The rest of the supplies are listed below.
I prefer it framed in gold.

Thank a Veteran or First Responder
Welcome to my blog and my first post with WordPress! For this blog hop we were challenged to create something non-holiday related using items from the new Holiday catalog. The moment I saw the “Christmas Around The World Designer Series Paper,” I immediately knew how I would use one of the sheets. While my card is related to a holiday, it is not a holiday highlighted in the catalog. Veteran’s Day is in November and with the recent Hurricane Harvey disaster, I also thought about first the responders and how this country came together to assists those who have been affected. After everything else that had been going on , it was great to see.
I hope you enjoy duplicating this card and giving it to someone special. The products used are indicated below. In case you miss it, the stars came from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.
